This is a little mixed media experiment on altering photos inside an iPhone, using Glitchè and other apps, stealing conversations, emoticons, screenshots from an online parallel life and using them out of context as a decorative commentary. Blurring the lines between reality and hyper-reality, who knows what it all means? Where it all comes from? Doing it with Jeremy’s FW14 collection for Adidas seemed apt, as his work is in itself an experiment in mix-matching pop culture and references, taking sportswear way out of it’s comfort zone to drag it into a leather bar, for example……And is it still beauty, is it fashion still, even after the confines have been expanded and twisted?
It’s Pop, but is it Art? Obviously not, but I still hope you’ll enjoy it
